WRITING CLUB – Monday, September 8th at 7 p.m. in the Community Room.
Participants are encouraged to write a short piece emphasizing the character traits of a particular person, pet, or object. Think of a character description in literature and “make” your character come to “life” for the reader or listener. Sandy Gambal will lead this activity.
BOOK CLUB – There will be no scheduled meeting this month due to the Jewish Holiday starting the evening of September 22nd. The selection is “Disobedient” by Elizabeth Fremantle. It is a riveting novel based on the life of Artemisia Gentileschi, the greatest woman painter of the Renaissance. The book will be reviewed and discussed at the October meeting.
